Dr. Neptar 02:34
He came from the planet Dorkon on the outskirts of Dimension X He came and he ruled our planet because he said he liked our planet best He came offering words of wisdom, He came offering prophesy He said, "Don't expect salvation from anywhere west of the Mississippi." At one time he was the herald of Galactus and he soared the cosmic winds He escaped the Negative Zone and he saved all of our skins Dr. Neptar where ya goin? Dr. Neptar what will we do? You came and you wooed our women and you saved us from the dread Dormammu Dr. Neptar in the night If you're looking for some salvation, I know where you can get it Dr. Neptar on the move If you're way out and lost in space, I know where you can find him Dr. Neptar on the quest If you're looking for some salvation, I know where you can get it Dr. Neptar on the dope

about

Most of this album was recorded December 7-9, 1993 at the Hat Factory in Baltimore, MD by Tony French. Tracks 4, 9,15 were recorded on 4-track cassette in Robby's basement in Chattanooga with engineering help from Sean Meadows, Martin Seehuus, and Tommy Cass. Big Heifer drove up to Baltimore from Chattanooga in a gold 1978 Monte Carlo, and Jon Moses came with us. We came back up to help Tony mix the album that summer and decided to move the whole band to Baltimore. The song "Flowers in our Hair" got a spot on the "Half-Cocked" movie soundtrack (thanks Mike!).
We had a fantastic version of "What Do You Do For a Living Anyway" but we decided to put "FALA (dance mix)?" on this album. No regrets.
Maybe I'll convert some early cassette recordings so the world can finally hear "Micro-media Mecha-neck" and "Mr. Dome."

about

Big Heifer Albany, New York

Robby, Barbara, and David got together to play a Halloween show in Chattanooga, TN in 1992. They had 5 songs for the party. They wrote more pop songs and laughed a lot. They did some touring and recorded a few records. Somewhere along the way they moved to Baltimore for a while and did more of the same. Like all good things, it came to an end. Thank goodness for the inter-webs. Enjoy. ... more
